Music on the Street returns to Newtown Borough this summer with an eclectic series of eight free outdoor concerts!

On August 8, Brad Hinton will play acoustic songs of heartbreak and hope from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the short stretch of Greene Street between State Street and the creek (next to the Newtown Bicycle Shop).

After August 8, the Music on the Street series continues with:

• RSVP Brass Quintet playing traditional and exotic brass tunes on August 15

• Dockside playing classic rock on August 22

• Meg Russell playing Americana and contemporary rock on August 29
