Tickets
Unless an event is offered with free admission, all persons entering the Newtown Theatre, including babes in arms, must have a ticket.
Ticket sales vary by event type. Please follow the instructions for your type of event.
If the Newtown Theatre sells tickets at the box office for any event, those tickets will not be available until the day of the event. Typically the doors open 30-60 minutes before an event.
Refund Policy
Updated 1/30/25
Guests purchasing General Admission tickets may not request a refund or exchange of those tickets. There are no exceptions to this policy, including forecasted bad weather, illness, or purchasing tickets for a date or time you didn’t intend. For example, if you purchased General Admission tickets for a 3:00 PM show, we must unfortunately deny all requests to switch those tickets to the 8:00 PM show on the same date. Please double-check the show time before you purchase tickets!
Inclement weather is not a cause for refund unless a performance is actually cancelled.
Guests with an active theatre membership at the time of their ticket purchase may contact us to request a refund or exchange their member-level tickets for another show. The request must be received at least 48 hours before the starting time of the event.
Newtown Theatre members who purchase General Admission tickets for others may not request refunds or exchanges of those General Admission tickets on their behalf.
