Corporate Meetings and Seminars

Your Best Foot Forward

Wow your employees or clients with a meeting or seminar at the historic Newtown Theatre.

Dating back to the 1800s, the theatre is America’s oldest continuously operating movie theatre and hosted anti-slavery meetings, including sermons by Lucretia Mott and Frederick Douglass.

The theatre, which can accommodate up to 250 people, has undergone nearly $2 million in renovations in recent years. This has brought the theatre up to today’s standards of comfort, convenience, and accessibility.

When you rent the theatre, our entire facility is yours. You can bring in your own food and drink, project slides or video onto our big screen, and use our stage and lobby to present talks or provide supplemental materials.

From start to finish, your event will be guided by our friendly and hospitable staff.
