Private Parties and Family Events
An Event You’ll Always Remember
People rent the historic Newtown Theatre for all kinds of fun and creative events: anniversary parties, grown-up birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, showers, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, family reunions. If you can plan it, we can host it!
The Newtown Theatre can accommodate 2 to 250 people. During your rental, you’ll get the entire facility to yourself. You can bring in your own food and drink (limitations may apply), play a movie, or bring your own entertainment (limitations may apply). From start to finish, your event will be guided by our friendly and hospitable staff.
Please note: this page does not pertain to children’s birthday parties.
What We Offer
The Newtown Theatre provides:
Access to the concession stand throughout the party if you or your guests wish to purchase anything
Tables and chairs for up to 30 guests
Staff assistance throughout the party
A microphone and sound equipment if needed (additional charge applies)
Ability to project onto the big screen (additional charge applies)
You may provide:
Food, cake, or beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic…restrictions may apply)
Tablecloths, utensils, paper products
A movie on DVD or BluRay or other entertainment
Decorations (glitter, confetti, helium balloons, or piñatas are NOT allowed)
