Music on the Street returns to Newtown Borough this summer with an eclectic series of eight free outdoor concerts!

On August 15, RSVP Brass Quintet will perform traditional and exotic brass tunes from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the short stretch of Greene Street between State Street and the creek (next to the Newtown Bicycle Shop).

After August 15, the Music on the Street series continues with:

• Dockside playing classic rock on August 22

• Meg Russell playing Americana and contemporary rock on August 29
